Our role
Carte and Compass LLC acts as an independent travel advisor, arranging travel services provided by third parties including hotels, airlines, ground operators and guides. Those suppliers are responsible for the services they deliver, and their own terms and conditions apply to your booking.
Membership and fees
Membership fees are billed annually and cover the services described for the relevant membership level. Trip parameters are based on a 7–10 day journey. Additional planning fees may apply for more very complex trips. Flight bookings in premium economy, business or first class carry a $50 fee.
Payments, changes and cancellations
Deposits, payment schedules, change fees and cancellation penalties are set by each supplier and will be communicated to you before booking. Membership fees are non-refundable once planning has begun.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend travel insurance covering cancellation, medical emergencies and baggage. Declining coverage is at your own risk.
Documentation
You are responsible for ensuring you hold valid passports, visas, and any health documentation required for your journey.
