Prior to founding Carte & Compass, Gina has held leadership positions at some of the most prestigious brands in the health, wellness and luxury travel industries. This experience includes serving as President of boutique travel agency, Indagare, and Vice President of membership sales at Equinox Fitness Clubs–where she had responsibility for more than $100 million in revenue. She also ran her own business development consulting firm where she worked with premier brands including Internova Travel Group.
Gina’s travels have spanned the globe and she has visited every continent except for Antarctica, which is on the bucket list. She has a love for Africa–developed from visiting multiple countries there–which was the catalyst for another passion–her development work with Maloto–an NGO whose mission is to elevate the lives of women and children living in northern Malawi.

Jill Bauman brings a rare 360-degree perspective to the world of travel and hospitality. Her career began in luxury hospitality with ClubCorp (now Invited), where she developed a deep appreciation for high-touch service and elevated guest experiences. She went on to manage and operate a multi-million-dollar luxury health club in Manhattan (now Equinox), blending operational excellence with a passion for wellness.
As Director of Sales at Canyon Ranch, Jill deepened her expertise in immersive, transformative travel and whole-person well-being. She later served as Vice President of Sales at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she helped expand one of the world’s largest wellness education platforms. Most recently, she served as National Sales Director for Passages of Distinction, representing some of the most exclusive hotels, resorts, and destination experts around the globe.
Jill founded Carte & Compass to share her love of travel, wellness, and meaningful experiences—drawing on decades of industry relationships to curate bespoke journeys that inspire and connect. Based between New York City and the Berkshires, Jill brings warmth, insight, and personal attention to every itinerary—guided by the belief that travel should enrich the mind, body, and spirit.
